Arlo Consulting was founded by Rodney Oliver — a construction professional with 48 years of experience leading operations, safety programs, and teams across the United States and internationally.
Rodney has held senior management positions throughout his career, including Regional Director, Corporate Director, and Corporate Vice President at industry-leading organizations such as Sterling Crane, Goodfellow Brothers, Granite Construction, and Flatiron Construction.
This breadth of experience — from firms with 60 employees to organizations with over 20,000 — gives him a rare perspective on the challenges facing construction companies of every size, culture, and geography.
Proven in the Most Demanding Environments
Between 2003 and 2007, Rodney led the rebuilding of oil and electrical infrastructure in Iraq and oversaw the construction of military facilities for the government of Afghanistan — all during active conflict. It’s the kind of experience that puts everything else in perspective and underscores his ability to deliver under pressure.

After decades working inside best-in-class organizations, Rodney saw an opportunity to bring that same level of expertise to companies that need it most. Arlo Consulting was built to offer the real-world, field-level guidance that helps companies stop recycling the same programs and start seeing real improvement.
